    - With a soothing palette of blues, greens, and touches of gold, we gently experiment with layered Gelli prints. Then, we begin transforming our sketchbook covers with collage, paint, and texture—a space for free play and thoughtful discovery.

Hi! I'm Susan McCreevy! And I will be your guide!

I’m an artist based in Inverness, working from my studio at Wasps Creative Academy. With a background in Textile Design & Printmaking, my journey has taken me from London’s design world to creating art inspired by nature’s serene blues, teals, and golds.

I specialize in blending printmaking and collage techniques to craft unique, textured pieces. Sharing my work and teaching others has been a joy, connecting me with creatives from all over the world.

I can’t wait to guide you through this course and help you turn your prints into beautiful finished pieces of art that you will be proud to hang in your home or sell.

  • How do I sign up for your course?

    All my courses are hosted on a platform called Thinkific. You will need to create an account with a password in order to sign up and pay for the course. Don’t forget your password, you will need it every time you want to sign in to the class.

  • Once I sign up, how do I get my login details?

    The sign up is done via my course hosting platform, Thinkific. Participants create an individual, private account where they can access all their classes. Once your account is created, you are taken step-by- step to securely pay for the class. You will then have immediate access if the classroom is already open. Save the login page to your bookmarks bar to easily find the course the next time.

  • Why is the course only available to purchase in USD?

    The teaching platform that I host my courses on only allows for 1 currency option. I decided to opt for USD as my students are worldwide. Use https://www.xe.com/ or another online currency converter to get the price in your currency.

  • How do your online classes work?

    Students access the course videos and other materials via the Thinkific platform. Once the six week course is complete you will still be able to access all the lessons. Weekly emails alert you to the new course content for that week. The new lessons will be released every Thursday, beginning on the 1st of May. Once you’ve registered and paid for my course, you will get a welcome email. Throughout the live course, we will be experiencing the material together! Each week, I will send an overview of the week’s lessons and a link to the videos. … etc. Once the live course has ended, you will have access to the materials in the course platform and can revisit them anytime you want

  • When does the course start and finish?

    This course will be released over a period of 6 weeks beginning on Thursday the 1st of May 2025 and wraps up Thursday the 12th June 2025. After the 6 weeks you continue to have *lifetime* access to the lessons and will be able to re-watch the videos as often as you like. *lifetime means as long as the business is running* Time Zone Info Lessons are released at 9:00 AM UTC on each release day. For example: If a lesson goes live at 9:00 AM BST (British Summer Time), students in Vancouver will be able to access it at 1:00 AM PST the same day. 9:00 AM BST = 4:00 AM Eastern Time (USA) Don’t worry - if you enroll after 9:00 AM UTC, you’ll still get immediate access to all released lessons.

    It is suitable for any one who wants to learn more about the layering and mixed media art processes I use. The combination of mixed media techniques will appeal to the beginner and more advance artist looking to broaden their range of skills. I encourage you to play, practise, explore and give yourself time to learn.

  • Do I need high speed internet for the course?

    Yes, you will need a good internet connection to view and/or download the video content for this course.

  • Does your course offer closed captions or subtitles?

    There are captions in English and a PDF printable transcript is also available.

 

  • Do you offer refunds?

    I offer a full refund up to 7 days after the course commences if you feel that the course is not for you, if you have watched less than 50% of the content.

  • Is this the same as the course you released previously?

    This course is like the original Botanical Gelli Print one, but better! I've updated videos, added captions, and included new content. There's also a fresh Facebook group just for this course.
